Daz Studio continues to run, even after closing program. And render errors.

As the title says, even after closing Daz it continues to run in my Windows Task Manager, preventing me from reopening the program until I "End Task". (Even closed, it uses 20-25% of my 32gb of RAM.)

I also receive render errors after about my 2nd or 3rd render preview. I tried to submit bug tickets, but the link in the error window takes you to a dead link.

How do I prevent Daz from continuely running in the background, even after closing it?

How do I submit bug tickets if the page for submitting them isn't working?

Thank you.

    You submit bug reports HERE

  • Is there CPU activity? If so it is working and should not be force closed - you risk corrupting configuration files and/or the database. Some people have reported that starting a new scene before closing can speed the process, but I never remember to try. If there's no CPU activity there are a couple of possible reasons, one of which can be avoided by opening Window>Panes(Tabs)>Aux Viewport and turning off the IPR Toolbar from the option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab). If the toolbar is already off and there's no CPU activity then it may be a plug-in issue causing DS to hang around after closing.

DS needs to clean resources after you tell it to close, that's normal and it can take some time. I think the latest version includes tweaks to limit the time it takes.

Turns out it was the IPR Toolbar. Thank you so much for helping! Funny enough, I never use an AUX viewport.
