I don't see any wooden barrels. I see a crashed space ship. Modern inkblot test? "What do YOU see in this scene?" lol

I'd look in the store for sci-fi ships or aircraft and that could yield results. I don't recognize it, myself, but I don't do many sci-fi renders so maybe someone else will recognize it.

  • I see an aircraft made of fence palings devil

  • It looks like a crashed something ...  I mentioned barrels because of the shape and the mossy patina over what appears to be wood.
And I'd swear I look at every spaceship, sailing ship, plane, etc that I can. (and own a lot of them... hell, I mean even own it .. if it dates way back ...

    Some kind of camouflaged vehicle?

I think so - looks like two mud guards at the front either side of a body. My first thought was DzFire, but I dion't immediately see a match.

First glance - The back end is toward us, and it looks like the two big things are rocket or jet pods, with a smaller pair just inside and above them and a vaguely coffin-shaped body. Or the two big items toward us are wheels, but there aren't any visible at the other end. And it is either poorly camouflaged or built out of rusty steel. If it is some type of air- or space-craft it has all the aerodynamic qualities of a really badly shaped brick.

Yes, I think you may be right. Nightship3D has done some blocky space craft but it doesn't look to be one of those.

To me it looks like a Star Wars Star Destoyer, pointing away from us, maybe foreshortened. and greebled a lot. Two large round engines added to the sides at the back and two smaller round engines added at either side of the bridge higher up. Greebled and textured with a tree layed across the body.

Possibly a ship built by space beavers or it's made from the wood of Integral trees...?

    Hello Alan Bard and everyone!

I'm Gendragon3D, creator of Cena Fantastic Forest and previous promos.
-I see that there is a discussion about the "cargo ship" fallen in the forest.
Well, let's go! It was supposed to be something that describes how big the scene is and the possibilities for creating renderings, both for fantasy mode and science fiction, with some pre-configured cameras and some physical lighting to start a scene.
-The cargo ship was a toy made in Cinema 4D R19, I did a light modeling of the ship's body, separating the turbines, to facilitate the effect of extrusions and mapping.
However, I had problems with the UV mapping, due to the application of Gleeble made with a beta plugin, still in development.
-I used an old metal shader, which gave the appearance of a ship that crashed many years ago.
I needed to build something quickly until I could get something better, by which I mean the artist "Petipet".
-I'm sorry, however, for causing any discourse on this promo, which was simply filling a large space in the scene that was not a person, as it would be too small.
-As for the "cargo ship" file, I did not leave it safe, as it contains many errors in the UVmapper, complicated to solve, and I had to apply an old metal shader that partially solved the problem, which is why it is not a "Merchant product Resource ".
The exaggeration in the application of the Gleeble is noted, so that it stands out, far from the scene, details of destroyed fairing, causing an illusion of deterioration.
-To highlight, I used the props saved separately from some trees, where I inserted them in the scene without the foliage giving the impression that the "cargo ship", collided with them along the route until the end of the scene.
-I would like to thank everyone for raising this discussion, which will encourage me to continue with my work and be able to clarify any doubts.
    Sorry for my bad English.

I wondered if it was going to be available.. it's interesting looking
Oh and anyone who can communicate in more than one language has no need to apolize. (he said and then went back to spell apologize correctly)
Anyone who uses Facebook is used to seeing the language butchered by people that it's supposed to be the milk language of.
    thank you for the explanation.

Thank you, Gendragon3D. The promos look good and help to show the scope of the set. Nicely done! :)

  • Actually, I thought the picture in the OP was pretty cool...

Thanks PA for Chiming in, keep up the good work!
