Village Courtyard / Courtyard Pool

Is there a reason why the description for these items says "made in New Zealand?" Is this secret code and I didn't get my decoder ring yet?

Just wondering how these interact with the original Courtyard and why the courtyard is in the bundle.

Well, okay, but since I'm not from New Zealand, I'm not sold on it yet. :)

Stonemason lives in New Zealand. Hence this set is made in New Zealand.

That's really a crazy good price on the bundle Stony. How long will that bundle price be good for?

Thanks for the quick update. I see the description now.

What was throwing me was the presence of the Village Courtyard in the bundle. I couldn't figure out if that was required for the individual parts or if it was a bonus.

The bundle is in my cart anyway, but I'd be interested in seeing an overhead view of Village Courtyard 2 equivalent to the one that's in the Pool pop-ups.

I thought the "made in New Zealand" was cute, it's like it was saying "you don't even need a description, just buy me". ;)

After initially planning to purchase, I think I am going to take a pass.

Now please don't take this as a rant. Nothing against the model, as I am sure it is superb, I just can't justify the price.

I already have Village Courtyard and I just don't see enough difference to justify the purchase.

Anyone have some renders that will change my mind?

The Village Courtyard seems like, if not a village square then perhaps a Mediterranean town square. The new set looks more like an Italian Palazzo - much grander, but less public. They feel significantly different.

Yes, but that's what I am worried about.

I have the Village Courtyard, Platea, and Chalet de Savilla. And on top of those I have Dreamlight's Perfect Escape and Streets Of The Mediterranean.

Just worried that this isn't sufficiently different that I would get enough use out of it.

I am my own worst enemy. Model overload.

I'm not sure what perfect Escape is, but I can't imagine using any of the others as a stand-in for the Louvre as an exhausted musketeer staggers past a knot of the Cardinal's guards and assorted court ladies to bring news to the king.

Not asking for, just wondering if there's an additional discount for "The Village Courtyard Bundle" for those who already own the original "Village Courtyard" (it seems to part of the bundle, too)?

Yup, just bought the bundle with the new Luthbel outfit (Vendetta for G2M) and Trousseau 2 for G2F by Frances Coffill and WOW... only $49.30 for the 3 (really 5) products!

I doubt it. The bundle is still significantly cheaper than buying the two new sets separately.

    Cheers,

    Alex.
