Limited Time Freebie Comment Thread?

I have an idea. In the General Freepository there is a limited time freebie thread. The OP has asked that no one comment in the thread so that any new post will notify those subscribed only of new limited time freebies. Does anyone comply with that request? Not usually, so Chohole has to wave her club around and threaten us occasionally.
The solution: add a comment thread. People could link to the freebie post and ask any questions, make any comments, etc, and everyone, especially Chohole, would be happy. I guess it would be similar to a contest where there is a WIP thread and an actual entry thread.
What do you think?
Comments
I think that is a great idea.
But, some of those who comment anyways in that thread either don't care to adhere to the rules, or don't bother to read the rules in the first place, and therefore have no idea of the rules in place.
Heavy is the hand of the almighty chohole, and we all love it - you know you do...

I'll get it started. This was posted today, but doesn't show up as free for me. Is this a PC+ freebie?
It is available free with any purchase, but free to PC+ without a purchase.
That is off course the standard weekly freebie, free with any purchase.
I thought the purpose of the Limited Time Freebie thread was to inform everyone of limited time freebies that everyone can get without the need of any kinds of purchasing strings attached.
The idea behind the thread was to notify people who may not get the Newsletters about freebies, As it says in the first post of the thread.
Well, I could bring up the old argument that anything that requires a purchase is, by definition, NOT a freebie. But I won't. (Wait, I guess I did.) :)
yep long gone are the days of a proper weekly freebie. That is DAZ3D's choice for one I won't argue with as I have had weekly freebies for a number of years now.
I've never faulted DAZ, or any other company for that matter, for their business decisions. Who can afford to keep giving stuff away for free all the time? They have to do what they need to stay in business. My irritation comes from advertising that plays fast and loose with the truth, or redefines words for its own ends. :)
like "forever" .... tippy toes out real fast lol ...
A comment thread is a good idea IHMO.

I crossed (and burned) that bridge a long time ago... the argument didn't work then, either.
