Help with Bvh import!!!

I have some bvh files that I am trying to import into daz3d. sometimes without incident, other time complete disaster....
on import I verify the bones match {see photo}. however after import more time than not I get this {see second image}
I have tried going through bvhhacker and other programs to no avail. please help.....

Please help me with this.... On import of bvh files I get random results. Sometimes they load fine but most times I have bizarre stuff happens to whatever figure I have loaded.... I have checked the forum for answers but haven't found anything to solve my problems..
I have verified the files using the bvh import options but still get garbage most of the time... the second image is base genesis figure with a simple blue texture applied. see below pics

if the BVH file was not made for your figure - you will have problem
even if the names of the bones are the same .
I have found most BVH files need some work to get them to work right -
i have done hundreds of them .
I haven't gotten into editing them that much, but I have taken them into mobu to a daz rigged figure and they work fine.
Even when I export them back out of mobu I get the same results sometimes. I have tried some of them as fbx but to no avail....
