there are some things (plug-ins) you may (possibly) need to purchase to do that. And in the end some things are hit or miss.
There is a tutorial for doing that, and it has a list of requirements. That would be my first suggestion, and keep in mind, some things just don't "Auto-fit" like they should.
And again, it is not a guarantee that it will work for all items, especially hair and footwear. Just look at the Skirt-joke in my gallery, it dose not auto-fit properly for many reasons.
(edit)
oops, wrong link, thanks chohole.
Also I have doubts that "Victoria 4.2 Morphs++" is actually needed for auto-fit, probably for the tutorial only.
That is the thing that is "supposed" to make V4 items (cloths, shews, hair) compatible with G2F via Auto-fit...
And again, it is not a guarantee that it will work for all items, especially hair and footwear.
there are pose controls, and they are very different from V4 to G2F.
High-heal shews, often have poses to make the feet fit into them, the V4 poses do not always work on G2F.
The same with hair and the shoulder pose controls for the same exact reason. Sometimes hair styles don't end up in the correct place on the head, and it can be a major headache to get them to sit on the scalp correctly. Sometimes you get lucky, and it just works.
Also what I do is skip the steps 2. and 3. Load the shoes, use the parameters to move the thighs legs and feet into the shoes. check the wire frame and get those toes and feet inside the shoes perfect so no poke threw. save your foot pose and right down your settings about what you had to move and where to g2 into v4's default pose for fitting the shoes. Once they are fitting good, you have your foot pose save. Select each shoe and convert to triax weight mapping. on the right side above the scene tab there is a little icon on the very left corner that look like a bunch of lines. Left click it and you will see Edit, Choose Rigging, convert to weight mapping, choose triax. make sure both shoes are done. now you can edit rigging and transfer the rigging to those weight mapped shoes. Fit your shoes to G2F. Save your shoes as a support asset - figure/support asset. Delete your shoes, reload your shoes, use your foot pose. There you have it. now you can fit any troublesome shoes that break with autofit. Maybe its a trade secret? Now try out some poses and reapply your foot pose. If toes start poking threw, too much, you might want to perfect the foot pose and do it over to get a better fit. You know you just hurried through that to see if this would really work anyway didn't you? I know I did.
I took several different tutorials for me to figure out how to get V4 shoes on Genesis and G2F. Genesis shoes don't need to be weight mapped but sometimes they don't fit on G2F either and this works without weight mapping them.
I feel ten feet tall after I tell people they CAN get shoes on feet.
(Creaky door opening sound) I'm trying to run this V4 to G2F tutorial, but it gets stuck on the step of loading the Genesis 2 Base Female. I have all the prerequisites. I'm running it in DS 4.10.0.123. The tutorial launches from the lesson strip, it leads me to clear the scene, I do that then it leads me to double click on the G2F base figure. I do that and then nothing. It just sits there not advancing the tutorial. There is no button to click on the tut window, it's supposed to advance automatically after you complete each step. It's not advancing.
Edit: it was easier to read the text of the tutorial .dsa file and follow the steps. Sheesh!
works here, the clicking to load G2F at that step is not a single click like the rest of the former steps, it's a double-click. If that doesn't help, not sure if something else is going on.

EDIT: ok galad it worked out for you. B)
Yes, double click and all, it just stopped. Something this simple hardly needed a step by step tut anyway. I had already used autofit for G2F to G8F items. I thought to bring V4 items forward it had to be more complicated, but no. Now re-rigging would be another matter...
lol, yes, re-rigging is beyond many's abilities, including myself. Huge difference between spending an hour tops putting something into a scene for an artistic render, and spending a week getting a single item to just barely function. lol. I'm Kind of fussing with similar with a G3F ear jewelry thing on a G8F elf ear with included adjustment morphs that don't quite cut it for the ear shape (head-desk), lol.
Well, maybe it was just a 'glitch' or something, glad it worked out. B)
I have a dynamic Twiggy Dress that was initially designed for V4 and I am trying to fit it to G2F. I fit the dress to G22 and then use Dynamic Clothing plug-in for animating the dress movement. All works well except it wouldn't "stick" to G2F, it just stays where it is while the figure is walking forward. There is also a dress rig that I tried to parent to the figure but that results in the dress turning into an entangled mess. Any suggestions?
Please use Smooth Shaded mode for the Viewport if you are taking a screen shot of a nude figure.
Optiex dynamic clothing won't AutoFit - instead you will need to pose the figure/dress so they align in frame 0 then apply your pose to the figure in frame 30 (or for an animated pose, starting from frame 30) and do an animated drape. Also check the Collision Target settings in the Dynamic Clothing pane.

You need V4 for Gen2F - it is a product you can find in the shop.

Does this help also adjust the hair?
Does this help also adjust the hair? yes and no.

shirts, skirts, and pants almost always work.
The most I care for shoes :(

Autofit doesn't work well with dynamic clothes, it's better to use them with an animated drape without fitting them to the figure.
