Anyone else having an issue with CCMagnus messing up the filters in Smart Content for G8M. After I installed CCMagnus, the filter got screwed up and identifes all my G8M Characters as CCMagnus, and no Male.
I Unistalled CCMagnus, the the error remains.

I ran it to this problem, submitted a ticket, and in the meanwhile, I created a separate directory just for him and maually installed so I can use the figure and smart content.

Yes, I am having the same problem. My Smart Content is totally messed up.
Can you please run that by me again? What do you mean you created a seperate directory? He is already in a seperate. Also, the post'er above you said that by uninstalling him, it did not solve the problem.
Just tried it myself. I uinstalled him and the problem still persists.

I should have said that I created a separate content library for him alone. The actual steps I used and should have explained (sorry for the confusion) were:
I completely deinstalled Magnus and deinstalled the Genesis 8 Male Essentials via DIM followed by a restart.
After the restart, I reinstalled the Genesis 8 Male Essentials, downloaded the manual install zip of Magnus, expanded the zip, dragged the resulting folder to the folder that contains my other libraries.
I added the new expanded folder as a library in Daz Studio's Content Manager I.e. mapped the folder in the Daz Studio portion and the runtime in the Poser portion and another restart of Daz Studio.
After the restart, Magnus works fine, smart content works fine on him and other genesis 8 figures etc... Be sure to log in to Help/Contact Us to add your ticket to have the problem repaired. I think that he changes the character ID so the reinstall of the Essentials (that is that free install that contains the generic genesis 8 male) restores the Id so that smart content recognizes the figure.

My pleasure... He is really tall; I would say he is at least as tall as the Brute and is probably 6'10" to 7'2". ChangelingChick says that he is based on a friend's Dungeon and dragons character.

He is supposed to be a very tall warrior; granted my nephew is 6'5" at age 16 and his cousin is 6'7" at age 17... Did you mean "normal" or "average"? My nephew is of normal height but nothing about him is average!
I'm so sorry about the weirdness with the smart content. I have no idea what would have caused that. I installed the same zip y'all get and didn't get that issue. That's really weird though. I'm glad y'all figured it out :D
And the height is entirely on the full shape, so if you apply the head and body shapes by themselves, he'll stay the normal G8M height :D
I don't use Smart Content so wasn't seeing that weirdness, but I loaded a scene I was working on after installing Magnus, and got an error for G8M. Uninstalled G8M Starter and reinstalled and the error is gone - so there is something weird overwriting G8M files. Haven't loaded Magnus since doing that, better try that...
