Filament - wet skin, emissives, DOF?
![mwasielewski1990](https://farnsworth-prod.uc.r.appspot.com/forums/uploads/userpics/664/nPI7KLDW6UEGT.png)
I just tried the new DAZ, and I'm quite fond of filament's speed :) However:
a) has anyone figured out yet how to make wet skin in filament? Iray tricks are not working
b) are emissives going to be supported in future releases?
c) why is the DOF not working with filament?
Thanks for any input :)
Comments
a) is the most easiest to do! just move reflections at 90% and anysotropic at some 55-75%
b) inside DS?, probably, because Filament Documentation consider emisives doable.
https://google.github.io/filament/Materials.html#materialmodels/litmodel/emissive
c) you can ask the creator of Filament for that on twitter @romainguy
Thanks a lot :)
Great news about the emissives, let's hope the DAZ team will get it working in no time :)
We hope!, iRay started the same way in DS, patience.![cool cool](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/shades_smile.png)
Sure :)
However, can I ask about the wet skin settings? I tried fiddling with Glossy Layered Weight, Glossy Reflectivity, Glossy Roughness and Glossy Anisotropy, but frankly the results were not satisfying (skin looks like plastic). Is there another way? I tried putting a black and white water drops texture in the Bump slot, but the result looked also kinda weird.
