Inserting texture to an OBJ

Hello....
sorry I want to ask, hopefully my sentence can be understood ..

So I want to insert a JPG texture into an object in an OBJ file which is an interior, but when I inserting the texture to a wall, door or any objects it always looks like in the image that I uploaded, the texture looks like a pile even though the JPG image is not like that.

The question is how do I edit it so that the layout fits into the object?

Thank you very much

UV of an object will define how the texture image is mapped to the object's geometry.

Also, the tiling (tiling setting in the surface properties) will define this too.

In your images, I assume either the UV or tiling is causing that effect.

Looks like your model has some kind of horrible UV mapping or no UV at all

there will not be any way to fix it in daz in any reasonably good way.

You probably need to edit all this model with blender or some other software or alternatively, if a problem happens with just the door and wall  you can just create a plane primitive and put it in front of the door and wall, you can even cut the hole for the window using geometry editor and deleting unnecessary geometry  or using opacity map
