Carrara better on Vmware than original Mac ?

Hello, who can explain me this ? Carrara works 8 times quickly on Vmware than on the Mac where i install Vmware. Physics is a lot faster. I hope there is a problem so i reinstall my mac from zero. Stay the same, Windows on vmware more quick than the mac where it is.

Imac intel core i5 2,8 (mid 2010)
32 gb 1333 Mhz DDR3

Mac 4 core 32 gb
mac physics 01:02:00
render 1:52

vmware 2 core ram 13564
vmware physics 00:08:11
render 2:08

try with 4 core on vmware
physics 00:06:08
render 1:20

Sometimes, a Mac port of a Windows program will be done ... let's say "in a non-optimal fashion" ... because it's less expensive or faster that coding device-specific subroutines from scratch. (Nobody's fault, just how things work on the business side.) That shows up in cases like this one.

If you can run the Windows version in a VM faster than you can run the native Mac version, go for it! This won't be the only example.
