Hair with small hair cap?

I love using the Neroli Hair http://www.daz3d.com/dforce-neroli-hair-for-genesis-8-and-genesis-3-females .
But the hairline is quite high on the forehead, so the hair cap is visible below it. Which makes the characters look like they shaved their forehead. I tried several haircaps from other products and did not find any improvements. Obviously I could just delete the haircap or make it invisible but the hair's density is just a bit too low so it still looks kinda off.
Does anyone know a really small haircap I could use or has another idea of how to solve this problem?

I second this inquiry. The only reason why I skipped over buying the hair yesterday was due to exactly as Laurita described, as can be seen in the promos.
oh wow you actually see the haircap in the main promo
This was discussed at some length in Novica's Art Studio thread - the PA (Chevybabe25) chipped in with some possible workarounds and said that a fix was going to be made - not sure whether it has happened yet. Here's the starting point of that discussion: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/6145566/#Comment_6145566
It's a pity that the haircap is such a distraction from what is IMO a really nice hair prop. It's a trivial matter to dial out the opacity, but it's a bit strong on pale skin, especially with light-coloured hair. I kind of like it on darker skin, though.
Why are the hair caps not invisible by default?
The easiest fix is to just paint black that area of the scalp opacity map in an image editor.
Not the best approach and I doubt it will look that good, but you could also try to select the unwanted polygons with the Geometry Editor Tool and turn them invisible.
I vote for the first option as you can control the result and it will be a permanent fix.
Chevybabe was trying something different with this hair.
Hi guys
Yes I do plan on having an update for this as that other thread also states. Please check out that thread where I posted some quick solutions to get you by in the meantime :)
Oh great, many thanks!
