What's with the hair names?
So... I'm new to this hoby. Used to sculpt, but my wrist went out on my so now I'm trying my hand at 3d. It's rather nice that I can buy assets as a shortcut, but...
What's with the hair names? I mean, seroiously, how am I supposed to know that 'bridget hair' means twin braids- or for that matter, that if I'm looking for a low poly twin braid hair that I should look for 'bridget'? If you search 'braids' in the daz store, you wont see bridget hair anywhere. Ditto for googling 'low poly braids' or any permutation thereof. I only found this very nice hair style that was exactly what I needed by sifting through a hundred plus different hairstyles!
Are these names actualy referencing anything, and I'm just out of the loop?

The names are just meant to be evocative, they are not functional descriptions. The risk, of coruse, is that different generations and places may have different associations with a given name. Key words should do better, but it's a matter of what was assigned (and also, potentially, of local useage - bangs vs fringe for example).
