Ah, I remember leaving the house without a mask and sitting down in restaurants...
I'd say something about preferring McDonald's to Tim Horton's as far as fast food coffee goes if I weren't worried about the RCMP breaking down my door. I do like Tim's donuts and chili, though.
Awwwww.
I'll resist making any jokes about Ontario and hockey teams.
My preference Sevrin was Robins, there was no Tim Horton's when I lived there, though there was a MacDonalds.
LOL kenshaw I'm not a hockey fan so you won't insult me, also our town is in a section of the province most don't know, it's near the corner where Ontario, Manitiba and the US border meet.
Hmmm, doesn't look cold enough.
That's got to be a commercial only decor setup though as that place would be getting filthy fast. I'm guessing that's Canada's restaurant chain equivalent to McDonand's? I don't even remember where we ate driving to Montreal from Champlain.
I remember a beer I bought in the 80s in college called Moosehead. Actually it taste good enough that I still remember what it tastes like. I'll have to go looking for it now locally now that we aren't dry (aka prohibition) anymore.
LOL nonesuch, That place was probably being kept that clean for the shoot. It is an Ad, just one done in a store in my hometown.
As for the cold, that usually comes after the holidays, though the snow did come early this year, way early and lots of it. Surprisingly they are colder then where I am now and I'm further north.
As for the Moosehead beer, I know it and there have been many more created since I left that area. If memory serves, cause I rarely drink anymore, Canadian beer is stronger then the US beer, might be why you still remember it. I'm familiar with beer from both cause my hometown sits on the Canadian/US border.
Tim's lost its Canadiana once it was bought out by that south American conglomerate. All downhill from there. McD's Canada coffee is certainly better.
Well fortunately where I am now we have both Tim's and McD's, though I will only get the fancy coffee's from either, as regular coffee is too strong for me for just about all places, even standard resturants. At home I make my coffee noticeably weaker then you get anywhere else, much to my daughters dislike...lol
Small world Faeryl Womyn, I'm from Dryden ;-)
That's cool...although I don't live nearly that far North, I've been there and Dryden too. I'm from Hamilton
LOL yes a small world, though now I live in Newfoundland. Think there is someone here from Atikokan I met on another thread, can't remember who that was though.
Nonesuch, I always found fast food and resturant coffe strong and bitter, I do know you can add the barest pinch of salt before making it and it's suppose to take the bitterness away. Even so still too strong, I do like french roast though.
