My models doesn't look like they should

I got a few models from the shop, and there's something wrong with all their faces and they differ from the pics. As I think something's wrong on my side: The nose is somewhat retracted (Michael Jackson kind of nose) and the eyes a bit googly. The upper lip too much raised and a bit too thick. In texture view it's even worse. I checked Parameters ("currently used") but apart of the three model slider "model A face, model A body, model A complete" all are at zero, also in Shaping and Posing apart from some Navel etc its all at 0%. They look like too much Daisy in them...

Might there be another slider somewhere that I missed?

    The "Currently Used" only shows the dials which are not at their default value = It doesn't show all the dials which are not zero.

    To fix any ill-behaving morphs (=non-zero default value), do as follows;

    1. Load your base figure or the developer version to an empty scene. ("Genesis 8 Basic Female" or "Genesis 8 Female Dev Load")
    2. Select the figure
    3. Select "Show Hidden properties" in the Parameters-Tab, drop down menu (right-click)
    4. Zero the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    5. Memorize the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    6. File->Save As->Support Asset->Save Modified Assets

    This procedure will zero the default value in the ill-behaving morph/morphs, and while saving DS also shows you a list of the morphs it is changing.

    ah, damn, the hidden ones, right. I missed these. When I zeroed the figure the shape / face suddenly changed a bit. Also the memorize command is very helpful. The save pop up tells me that Genesis8Female.dsf had been changed. Now I put Dahlia onto that G8F and... the Michael Jackson nose© is gone :). Thank you!

    One more question, as I found the misschief morph causing this and reset it to zero:

    Still, whenever I start from a blank G8F the morph is always already dialed in. The morph overwrote the vanilla female figure. How can I get her back without resetting the values to zero?

    Unistall the product/character that is causing the problem, its faulty.

    Be aware that some products require others to be installed to work correctly, eg. Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs, and some character morphs are add-ons for particular characters that you need to have installed first.

    I uninstalled the character causing trouble. Still G8F out of the starter pack is affected. Still the morphs for the character in question are there. I can't find the character anymore in Smart and Content library. However I mixed the character's morphs into another character Y, so it's still located in Y's directory.

    What else can I do?

    Apparently you didn't uninstall it, how did you uninstall it?

    Download the problem character from your library manually. then open up the zip file and look at the files inside. If you manually remove all the files that were installed, you should be fine. Now open up your DAZ3D directory and find the files that are in the zip file and remove them, that should fix the faulty character. best to also put in a support ticket so they can fix the faulty files.

    I uninstalled it with the DAZ Install Manager without any errors. I doublechecked the .zip contents, nothing left in the directory what was in the .zip. I even did a deepscan for the morph files, and as I wrote, nothing left apart from the copied morphs into another character Y directory:

    c:\Daz 3D\Applications\Data\DAZ 3D\My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs\arnon\characterY Morph Asset\

    Thank you, I think that's really one for the support team.
