Downloaded and installed "Maiden Fair Dynamic Dress", but when I try to apply it to my V4 figure, It says the rig is there, but i can't see anything. Am I missing a step or does anyone have an idea of what is going on?

Does that happen with just this item or all dynamic items? What version of DS, do you have the full DCC product?
and have you made certain you are using the right version of the dress for your program. There are 2 versions of this dress, one for DS and one for Poser.
Does the Dynamic Clothing pane appear in Window>Panes(Tabs)?
You know? I hadn't noticed if the Dynamic Clothing pane comes up or not, most of the time I am only using one side or the other in the "self serve" workplace. I am using Daz 4.6 and I am fairly certain that I am using the one for Daz rather than Poser (although I have Poser Pro 2014 as well, just haven't used it yet) I will check the dynamic clothing thing too. I meant to before, because I have the Dynamic Sheets and it does the same thing. I bought this ASUS gaming laptop because I figured I would have less problems out of it than my regular laptop, but I think it worked better, even though I think I have just about killed it's video card. LOL
No, the Dynamic Clothing Pane does not come up, and I can't find it in my product list. I un-installed and re-installed it, but it still doesn't show up anywhere. And for the dress rigging, I can get the bones to show up, (I tried thinking maybe I could get something to work from there, but no go either) but still no dress. and there is only the one file for the form itself and the info says its a "scene".
It sounds like it may not have installed correctly, but as you get a basic version of dynamic clothing 'integral' to DS I'm not sure if that'd have an impact. In my plugins directory I have dzoptitexclothbasic.dll.basic and dzoptitexclothcontrol.dll. The .basic file is renamed by the install of the paid-for full DCC (I think!). Actually that might be it - the rename to .basic may have been done but the 'replacement' proper .dll may not be in the right place.
You mention re-installing which, to me, says you have the full DCC product. How did you install it, with DIM or manually?
I use the Daz installer every time it's available for use with a product. I am extremely new to this 3D stuff and I have bought outside content and tried to install it myself. Sometimes it works, sometimes it ends up in an odd place, and most of the time it gets lost who knows where in my files. LOL Unfortunately, many creators seem to think you are automatically going to know what to do with their creations, and don't give you instructions on how to install it. Once in a while you will find some clues in the "Read Me's" but not always.
If the "lost" stuff are all .zip installers, how are you trying to install them? Freebies can be a bit hit-or-miss as to the correct file/folder structure, but most things actually sold for real $$$ these days are correctly put together. It's just that there's more than one way to bundle up the files that make up a 3D product, and the DAZ files are also intended to be used by the DIM automatic download/installer program. It also can make a difference whether the item is plain Poser format (but still useable in D|S) or pure D|S format.
