Good day DAZling people, is there any way to tell daz i like these eyes and somehow bookmark them in some folder? Various actors have great eyes or makeup and i want to have them handy somehow.
A sevond question is why so some makeups change the whole face instead of just the eyelids eg, how can i tell what does what before double clicking?

You mean add filse to soem kind of quick-access list? One way would be to right-click>Create Cusotma Action and set up a menu for diffrent kinds of favourite. Another would be to right-click>Categorise and create a category tree (or a single category) for favourite items. A third, a bit more work, would be to create a new group - but with that you would need to bear in mind that if you have DS set to add newly installed items to the new group it will knock them out of your favourites group.
I will try this second option, thank you Very much Richard!
makeup works several different ways
many in fact the majority are whole face textures
a few are Layered Image Editor (LIE) png overlays
a small minority geoshell textures and masks
regarding the makeup sometimes it changes the whole color of the face, eg in a white caracter the face might go brown, or as in my case road grey. Some other makeups change just the eyelids without changing face color. What are those called? Thanks Wendy
you need to look under the surface tab at the diffuse map for each to see if it is loading in a whole face texture or a LIE option, I cannot give a better answer because every product is different

an example of a LIE makeup which won't change your skin
i think i see what is causing t! Much thanks Wendy!!
Another option is to add a tag - which I did start doing at one point (something like "Five*", "Four*", etc.)
How can i go about doing that? Because i use mainly some fighting poses lately and 2 are on one product 3 in another and 2 knockout poses are in a third. But their names have nothing to do with fighting so i have a pen and paper handy to search. It would be awesome if i could tag those poses like gutpunch1 etc and just search and find them fast. Assuming this can be done
You need the area with additional tabs at the bottom of Smart Content or Content Library panes exposed - click the toggle in the middle of the bottom bar if it isn't. Select your file and enter the tags in the entry box.
oh wow this will help immensely!! thank you Richard!!!
