search function not working

Title says it all really. I'm using DS 4.8 pro, and the search funtion for content isn't doing anything. Usually if I type in a word (for example "sword") I get a list and icons of the items that fit that word. Today the search funtion doesn't do anything, shows no items at all.
Any ideas?
EDIT: restarted DS and now problem solved. Strange!

Depending on whgich pane you were using, and whether you'd closed one CMS-using application just before opening DS, it's possible that the Content Management System wasn't running and therefore features that use it were not working.
