(Probably) Tiny dforce problem

I work with prebuilt charcters and one all of the sudden of them doesn't collide with dforce clothing. Which makes all iteams drop through the character onto the floor.

I understand that many people would find exactly this behavious highly desirable ;-) - but I don't.

So what did I mess up, any help?

Thanks all!

There's a few things that could.

On the character make sure "visible in simulation" is set to ON.

(this is under "display" in parameters)

If the figure has a dforce modifier for any reason "visible in simulation" also appears as a material setting under surfaces (which works independently of the figures own setting)

So make sure all of these are on

Those are the usual two, so check those first~!

Of course - visibility in sim was turned off, no idea why!

    Thank you very much! :-)

Did you pick the option "Simulate Selected", which is normally a good idea if there is a lot of other things in the scene. If you did, then you need to select both the item that needs to be simulated AND anything you want it to collide with, eg: the character wearing the dForce clothing. Otherwise the clothing will drop through everything, as you are seeing.

This time I didn't but I used "Simulate Selcted" quite frequently, so this is a very welcome futher info. Thanks for that!
