Generally, I would say no, since it would only convert the pose in one keyframe. If you want to convert aniblocks, there are many animation converters in the store. I haven't tried any with this new version of DS (4.14), but have used many of them to convert Gen 4 to Genesis, Genesis to Genesis 2, and all the way to Genesis 8 in DS 4.12.
Depending on the length of the original aniblock, it can take a bit of time and you must follow the instructions carefully to make them work. Be aware, if you haven't already, that the new version of DS has incorporated some of the ani-mate plugin into the timeline.
