Customize sliders in Shaping tab in DAZ Studio?

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

Hi,

Is it possible to customize the sliders in the Shaping tab in DAZ Studio? I'd like to have the sliders of the head, face, etc. to be big like the actor ones, since I'm adding preview pictures to the dsf's. But on my UltraHD monitor they are too tiny to see.

Thanks!

Yes it can be done, but you will need to do it with a text editor, as the built in system has a bad habit of screwing up the regions.

On top of that only you will see them like that as the changes have to be made to the base figures main .DSF asset file, which means you wont be able to distribute those changes.

Just out of curiosity, what are the changes that need to be made to do this? I also noticed that while the shaping parameters show rows and columns of giant icons at the lower level (ex: Genesis > Actor > Mutations), at the higher level (ex: Genesis) they are compact sliders in a list, which seems to suggest the way the parameter is displayed isn't dependent on the parameter itself, but rather on the view you are in?
