If you go to Foot Locker, some other speciality store that sells lots of sporting shoes. You'll see that men get all the nice, beautiful shoes and women are stuck with pink or blinding neon colors.
But I don't expect to find this level of realism with DAZ.
This assumes that you actually can or want to buy three items in the stack up sale. As of this morning there is exactly one item in that entire list that I do not already own, so in order to invoke the discount, I would have to re-buy two of the least expensive items AND buy an expression pack that I have no interest in. It's not as much of a discount when you have to pay money that you wouldn't otherwise have to spend in order to get it.
Maybe that's a sign you own too much and shouldn't buy the pack :).
Yeah. I've got too much content as it is. Did pick up the title character and his HD yesterday. But I don't do SF or cyberpunk, and while I admired a couple of the things in both bundles there's no point in purchasing what I won't use.
thats the way i went too
Bundle? No. Tavia? Yes. She is my learning deal item.
Sad to see that the cyberpunk stuff offered is really subpar from previous cyberpunk designs. Only the guns came off as pretty decent. And the costs are pretty up there. Was this a rush type thing?
Yeah, department stores, and the like, have a terrible selection of shoes. I personally don't like what I see for women in them either.
I agree, these futuristic/Cyberpunk bundles would've been excellent for including more "stylish" outfits for younger male characters. At least from my fond memories of American public schooling, a lot of teenage boys were really big into collecting basketball shoes. (Air Jordans, for example.) Niko 8's "default" outfit was a good example of something cyberpunk that doubles as contemporary wear. (Pretty much why I'm surprised that Juan Carlos 8 is cyberpunk...) The shop needs more of this type versatile cyberpunk clothing, IMHO
On 'realism' and figure assets by gender.
The clothing economy for women is roughly 75% greater than for men in the United States.
Don't know about the rest of the world. Personally, I doubt the US is unusual in this regard, but I've been wrong many times before.

So, not only do we not get nearly as many males as females (though it's improved some), now we get female items IN male bundles. HARD, HARD pass. Urgh. No, just no.

And yet, equal amounts of fabric are used and male clothes still have three times the number of pockets XD
Might be all the fabric saved from swimsuits.
Maybe if you do some IRL kitbashing with autofitted men's clothing, then pockets wouldn't be a problem. But then, you might have to export that clothing piece to a seamstress or alter it yourself. Especially for pants, since men's pants don't conform well on women.. :P
Over half of my wardrobe is from the male section. I like my pockets! XD
I fully agree. Not only a nice new female character, but also with well structured and rather complete content. The set of materials is really nice. You know a Vex character when you see it
Rod Wise Driggo:
Just to clarify, the 20% additional discount on the Cyber Dystopia Bundle banner said:
Because you own the Weight Workout Props and Poses for Genesis 8 and the Juan Carlos 8 Streets of Cyberpunk Bundle, we're offering you an EXTRA 20% OFF the Juan Carlos 8 Cyber Dystopia Bundle.
I have no idea what the first product is, as I can't find it in the store, nor in my product library.
Maybe they are just playing favorites as I have an embarrassing GINORMOUS store credit balance.
What female items were included in the bundle, short of hair that was for both male and female (cool), and a set of twin characters? I don't remember seeing anything that was exclusive to females?
Good to know! Yes, I agree about Vex figures
Here is another render I did for Tavia that did not get in when I uploaded her! She was a lot of fun to work on and learn new things on. Hope you like what I have done with her :)

Cheers to you as well. Thank you for helping to make such a lovely figure! Your attached picture vanished. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you have to leave the thumbnail in the post or the picture gets deleted.
Unisex hair isn't male hair, it is woman's hair. Unisex hair tends to be hair with a female generic hairline.
Agree.
Laurie
Yeah, but look at how many more female-focused hair salons there are in the real world ....
j/k
DAZ's is more skewed than that. I'm surprised the clothing gap is so small in the real world.
Only because men are larger, their clothing conforms to a far greater surface area, and their clothing is generally made of far heavier weaves. My ex could easily get clothes for five days in an overnight bag with room to spare, whereas I was lucky to get three in an identical case. If looked at in terms of the number of bolts of fabric used, though, the consumption of the women's clothing industry dwarfs that of its male counterpart, despite the fact that even a full length dress with long sleeves generally consumes less fabric than a shirt and pair of pants tailored for someone of the same size.
If the store reflected real life, roughly half of the figures would be male, and the largest ethnic group would likely not be white.
