Looks really good. But it also looks like another rather small interior. I have always problems with such small spaces, because I never get my lights and cameras placed properly without landing somewhere outside :-)

you can turn on or off the walls so nothing is in the way, also you could use a camera with a low focal length to get more in,

Such wonderful detail and realistic texturing.
I do find the inclusion of actual books, and paper files interesting, nice to see you don't believe that the physical book and paper is doomed to extinction in the future.

Cool. If you can hide or remove every wall piece seperately then it should not be a problem.

there is a laptop in the set ....but paper and books make for some good visual clutterAnd it shows that in the future we still won't have cured Horizontal Surface Disease, a syndrome of which I am an acute sufferer. Or an obtuse sufferer. I'm not quite sure what my angle is with this...

That said, if I'd paid the weight cost to get those ancient books up into space, I'd be looking for a 'clumsy and random' blaster to deal with whoever set their cup on them... :)

More seriously, this is a LOVELY set, going by the promo images. I imagine it'll be part of the PA sale kickoff, and I can't wait.

Are those ovens? And do they open, at all?

I'm only seeing 30% discount and wonderful as that is I was just wondering if that's a mistake due to your above statement.
Thanks; looking forward to getting this as soon as possible.

Any reason the modular SciFi Kit 02 is not included in the 1/30%-2/40%-3/50% part of the sale? I thought maybe due to release date, but there are newer items that are included?

Apparently not a mistake. It seems the 50% discount is only for PC+ members. :-(

Just wondering, is the Crew Quarters designed to fit together with the Bedroom? Is there a preset that snaps them together, or a particular place where they should fit?

Between this, the cryotube room, the bedroom set and the two modular kits, the consistency of design is fantastic. It's like the Nostromo crossed with the human aesthetics out of 'Mass Effect'.

Assuming this is just the first couple of phases of an entire collection, could you give us an insight on what else is on the way? Medical bay? Hydroponics? New medical laboratory? Futuristic garden or 'zoo' for specimens of flora/fauna? Cockpit? Engineering section? Armoury? Command-and-control? Airlock? Vehicle bay/garage? Larger, military-style mess hall?

Wow! My wife and I were talking about this set, and she said it was 'just like in Mass Effect', and I felt it was more similar to the 'Alien' movies, and it's very cool to see someone else spotting the same aspects.

So...yeah, if that's the look being gone for, it's nailed pretty hardcore. :)

I have a set of renders that I've been storyboarding, and trying to find the right angles for, that these sets are perfect for. Hopefully someday I'll actually finish putting the scenes together on paper, and get them into 3D. :)

This was quick. Pull the window section, rotate the Sci-Fi Bedroom 180 degrees, and move it into place with a simple translation and you get this.
