DAZ Weekly Freebie????

Quick question about the weekly freebies. Are there not any new ones for DAZ Studio users?  I haven't seen one in months (except during their anniverary). All I see are freebies for poser, blender, and DAZ to "whatever". Have they stopped offering freebies? (Okay, that was two questions.)

    Are you talking about the PC freebies or the ones from the "weekly freebies" banner in the shop?

    The PC ones have been released as usual.

    Regarding the other ones, there are a few DS items in the category but you may already own them.

    Sort the main shop page by "Price Low-High" then all current free items should show on top of the page.

    I'm talking about the weekly freebies, not the PC ones. I guess I may have bought too many things now to get freebies because it seems only a couple of months or so I can find freebies and the rest of the year nada. Here I thought DAZ didn't repeat freebies. I'm going to check the main shop page just to see. Thanks for the info.

    Just checked the main store. I sorted from low to high and clicked on "software" to sort for DAZ 4.14 and guess what, it doesn't have that option. It had several "DAZ to 'whatever' Bridge" options. But no DAZ 4.12 or DAZ 4.14. Am I missing something?

     I do see DS 4.14, maybe it's browser related (I'm using IE11)?

    First: they are biweekly, even when the promo picture says "weekly", second: the last time they were updated was December 3.

    One was DazStudio only (https://www.daz3d.com/fairytale-unicorn-baby-chapter-2-for-daz-studio), the rest are partly Poser only, partly Poser, but useable in DazStudio.

    I know what you mean, it seems like all year 2020 the weekly freebies banner items have all sucked...compared to last year at least.

    Well, I am a DazStudio AND Poser AND Bryce user ... sooooo ... they don't suck for me.

    they seem to be the same ones for a while. they had some really good ones that got me back into using the software, but not much I can do with Unicorns that look like 1990's iMacs.

    What do you call "updated"?
    As I remember there is always the same since several months.
    If it is called "weekly", everybody can expect to have a new set of them every week.
    That's simply the argument.
    Otherwise they have to rename this section -> Quarterly Freebees (just as example).

    With updated I mean new ones. They might not interesting to you, but I did get some Poser only Fairytale textures which I didn't have before. As I am "buying" each and every freebie that shows up, even if I don't have a use for it at the moment, I know that those were new.

    Yes, it should be Biweekly instead of Weekly, that is true.

    Well, five months into 2021 and Daz Studios is up to it's tricks. All I've seen are fairytale/cartoon stuff and so far I've seen the moon broom at least 3 times this year. And someone once told me they don't repeat freebies. Boy, that's a bunch of hooey. If they are going to put up the fairytale/cartoon stuff, they should at least put up regular stuff for other users who wants something besides the moon broom.

    Biweekly?!?  Try BiMONTLY.

    Lately I have been very disppointed with the freebie section of Daz myself.  For starters, as I pointed out here, it isn't weekly that it is updated.  It is more like a month...if that.   Finally when they do updated it is really lame stuff.  They used to put up freebies from all figure models up to Gen 3 and rarely even some Gen 8 stuff.  But ever since the holidays, they been pulling this stunt in which they are just putting up old, outdated stuff, which byright should be delegated to the vault!

    Comparing this to the freebies offered at Renderocity as me looking over there lately for my Freebies.   I am hoping that someone from the admin reads this and urges the "higher-ups" to fix this issue and get the Weekly Freebies section back on track to the way it used to be.

    Forgive the rant, but this is one big thing that needs to improve on the Daz Site.
