Dynamic Clothing Issue

I've been trying to fit some dynamic clothing to Vic 6 figure and while I've had no problem fitting pants, I've been unable to fit anything to the upper body. What could be the problem? I've tried selecting/ deselecting various things in the Collide With tab and changing the scale as suggested in the tutorial but the results have been highly unsatisfactory. I'm using the DCC (paid version). See the pic below for an example. Cheers.

    Are the clothes made for G2F? if not, you will need to start with G2F in the zero pose - or even in a slightly adjusted pose - so that she fits inside the clothes, which should remain Fitted to none, then apply your desired pose in frame 30 of the Timeline pane and finally set the dynamic clothing to perform an animated drape.

    It worked, thanks.

    It looks like this method will only work if the character is at the world center or very close nearby. I have just tried fitting some dynamic clothing to a figure that was located far away from the world center (the particular piece of dynamic clothing I was trying to fit would only load into the world center, it was the free burqa from the Optitex store and I was trying to fit it to both G2F and Genesis characters). When I do an animated drape moving the character away from the world center to the desired location within the scene, the dynamic dress follows her for about 5 frames and then loses touch.

    Any ideas? Thanks..

    It may be that the figure is moving faster then the cloth can keep up - especially if it wasn't parented to the figure.

    The clothes refuse to fit altogether after parenting.

    You don't have to drape from the centre, you should be able to move the clothing to whichever position your figure is at before you start draping. I have just tried it with the burqa on G2F and it works OK.

    Doesn't work for me for some reason. Each time I try to fit dynamic clothing to DAZ characters, I spend hours on end battling with this function.

    What is your sequence of actions?

    Once your figure is in position load the dynamic clothing by just double-clicking on the icon. Then select your figure and in the Parameters pane click on the xTranslate number and copy it (Ctrl+C). Then select your dynamic clothing item and in the Parameters pane on the xTranslate number paste the number you have just copied (Ctrl+V). Do the same for the zTranslate number. The dynamic clothing item should now be ready for draping.

    Naturally your figure should be in the T-position close to the location of the final pose. This should be frame 1 in the timeline.

    @Cayman
    Thanks, it worked this time. Previously I was trying to use the method described in other forum topics whereby the figure is selected before loading the item and then one tries to fit the item by scaling the clothing before draping. That didn't work at all for me.
    Will continue experimenting in the next few days - dynamic items for DAZ are pretty thin on the ground so I want to make sure I can fit all I can lay my hands on :-).
