Quite a few people run portfolio threads in the Art Studio

I've been parallel posting my renders to DeviantArt nearly since I started, so they're still going up there (along with a few renders that are too saucy for Daz (but, for whatever reason, not my outright pornographic ones as well)). I also have an art studio thread.

I set up my own site and post there.

I post on DeviantArt or on my own Art Studio thread.

I never really liked the DAZ Galleries because I can't "Follow" artists whose renders I enjoyed seeing. But, they did come in handy when people credited products from the shop because their user renders often convinced me to buy products I was unsure of.

Could anyone provide a link to the Art Studio website, please? The only thing I found was an unsecure website.

I think Chohole meant the Art Studio forum in the DAZ forums : https://www.daz3d.com/forums/categories/art-studio

    DA and Renderosity.

  • I post on DA and I have a thread in the Art Studio where I post renders. Sometimes, I post over on Rendo, but not as often. I do miss going to see who has ended up on the banner in the gallery.

DA, Rendo, and Pixiv. I have my own site too, but I just don't know where to start when it comes to setting it up :/

I've been cross-posting on DA, my site, and Rendo for a while.  Daz and Rendo are always my last-to-post.  Is it bad that I hadn't realized they were down?  I haven't visted them in months.

I stopped posting on rendo as the comments can be abusive and  it is poorly moderated. I only post here and at deviant art, where I can better control over trolling.

Mine are on my computer where humanity is safe from them.

  • I miss the gallery here tbh, but Artstation, Deviantart, Rendo, Instagram, Facebook and own site :) Sometimes CGSociety but it's pretty dead for Daz artists over there.

I started a thread in the Art Studio section since I miss seeing people's new renders too. Please feel free to post there as a sort of Mini Gallery until we get the Gallery back: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/458391/mini-gallery-while-the-gallery-is-down#latest

I hope everyone who's been missing the gallery stops by to share some of your new work! I'm so missing seeing everyone's new renders and would love to see what everyone has been up to in their rendering sessions. :)

I honestly always wished that I had something to share in the gallery.

But that being said, I cant lie....

Porn sites, is where my work can be found... well, they pay. laugh

I wonder why they are taking so long to bring the gallery back. I wonder is it going to be remove permanently ? the way 20202 has been going nothing will surprise me anymore

    I highly doubt it.

They said it would take several weeks after the store upgrade before the gallery would be back. They had to change the gallery integration with the store so it can work with the new software, so maybe they also changed the gallery software.

  • I should point out that it's more like a month and a half in a couple of days, not three months.

Well, you know, it still feels about a month and a half too long...cheeky

  • It feels like three months? ;-)

I have always posted to Rendo first, that`s where I get the most feedback.  Ditched DA, Daz is down, and Instagram is sort of boring.  I do sometimes post into `Show Us Your 3Delight Renders'.

  • It'll probably likely be back soon™

Six week now without a gallery! You know I loves ya DAZ but love has its limits.

Richard, while you are 100% correct, it FEELS like an eternity. I once read that art is only art, if someone else sees it. In addition, renders of fellow DAZ customers were a great inspiration and, more than once, a decision maker for a buy. At least in my case, having the gallery back would help DAZ business.

Jack Tomalin stated that two weeks or so ago...  but since Albert Einstein, we know that time is realtive....

I post at DA and Renderosity as well as here. I get the greatest activity from posting my images on DA, then on Renderosity. Here I get a lot fewer comments and likes (not that I get that many anywhere), but post to the gallery here in case someone might happen to like my work. I also have a thread in the Art Studio forum, but kind of let it "die", since I'm just not really good at keeping people interested. I might have to add a few images since to it now that the gallery has been down for so long (and life might be less hectic for a couple of weeks).

Soon here means Daz-Soon: between a pico second and eternity.
