Rendering Issues

I'm having a strange problem with a render today. I'm using Reality 2.5 -> LuxRender 1.3.1 to render an image from DAZ Studio. I'm using the Genesis 2, Lilith 6 figure as a base for my character, and I changed the skin textures for the entire character. The setup in DAZ Studio looks fine, but whenever I start the render, when it gets to a certain point where it's clear enough, I can see a distinct line across the forehead of the character, and there's a patchy area in the forehead that stays black for a while, but eventually fills in, but still doesn't match the rest of the skin texture. Can anyone tell me what the issue with this is? I'm not at my home computer right now, but I will be later, so I can post an image to show what the issue is later, if necessary. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, this has happened to me in a render once before, but something I did then I managed to fix it. I just can't seem to remember what I did before, and I don't think I should be having this issue at all, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows what is going on. Thanks!

Once you launch Reality it will record your current maps and colours used but will not recognize changes automatically. If you load new textures in DS after Reality has been loaded up you need to go through the list of materials in Reality and choose the little cog wheel icon for every map and update it.

I didn't see a little cog wheel to update the maps, but I did a Revert All, and it regathered the materials and reset all of the settings. Changed a few things around and started the render over. It looks like it's going to turn out better this time! Thanks for the advice!

    You're welcome.

Sorry I could not give a better instruction, I did not have DS available on that computer and I have not used Reality in a long while so I was going by memory

Argh! Unfortunately, while it looked okay when I first started the render, it is more noticeable now that the render has run for a while. It's still there, so what I did before did NOT fix the issue. :( Attached is an image that is a screenshot capture from the LuxRender window of what is going on. This render had the same issue as the line going across the forehead, across both thighs, but something I did at some point fixed that issue. Now all I have issue with is the line across the forehead and the weird hole on the side, just under the edge of the hair....

I think this issue has something to do with a part of the hair, which is actually invisible, but is going across the character's forehead just in that area. I don't know....

I'm now doing another render, using a different character shape, different skins, and a different hair piece, and I'm still getting this glitchy looking part in the forehead on this render! :( Please, somebody come up with a solution to this that works so that I don't have to try to PhotoShop my renders as much after I run them. Thanks!
