Can't purchase from Daz store

I've already opened a ticket, and so far have not gotten a helpful response (they were asking for screencaps of the cart and error that I already sent them when I submitted the ticket). Also, it seems wait time for any response is going to be longer than usual.

So here's my problem: I've always paid in the Daz store with my credit cards, and also sometimes Paypal. The error I'm getting, with all methods, is "There was an error processing this request". Even Paypal, will not go to the Paypal site and their account screen to confirm payment like it usually does, it doesn't leave that payment method screen of the Daz store. A few notes

1) I've not changed any information and used these payments methods all the time, as recently as 4 days ago.

2) Even totally free content, which requires no information for payment, gives me "There was an error processing this request".

3) I've tried cleaing my cache, cookies, and using different browsers. Still cannot get past the payment method screen, still same error message.

So in the meantime, while I wait as long as I'll wait to hear back again, I was wondering if any other users have encountered this problem, and if there was a fix that worked for you. Thank you.

    The really bizarre thing is, I had no problem buying an item from the Shop just now.  But where I am as of this post, it is actually early in the morning, and much of North America are likely still in bed at this time, and in a matter of time they will soon be at work.  Lucky for me, I am an early riser.

    I think the inability to purchase anything from the Shop is probably a case of too many people online at the same time, holiday season and being later in the day when people are off work.

    Adding to that.  It is actually just 04:00 am  in Dazland    they are GMT - 7

    I have had the behaviour of the OP's in trying to check out from the DAZ Store when the items in the cart changed price in the attempted handoff to the PayPal site or the CC processor. It's supposed to do that was my understanding to avoid accidental bills from DAZ for hundreds or even thousands of dollars when your cart is only in 10s or hundreds of dollars. I remedied by refreshing my cart and if their was an item in particular causing problems that wouldn't remedy by refreshing the cart, taking that item out of the cart.

    Could be a buggy item, guess I'll try different combinations. Really unfortunate though, still won't let me buy these things. 

    *No, none of the items I remove change the outcome, still can't get past the payment method screen.

    I had the same problem a few weeks ago.  I wasn't able to complete a purchase.  Got the same error message you got.  After a couple back and forths with the people at the help desk, they really couln't help.  But I did resolve the situation.  Turns out that a couple of months ago I had a change of address which I registered with the credit card company, but I did not change the information in my payment options with the daz store.  Not sure if that was the problem but after I edited my payment info to reflect the info on my credit card, I was able to make a purchase. Might be worth a look to see if all your info matches.

    Which so far is nothing. Really dissapointing they have all these "deals" I can't use. 

    *Update - Today everything decided to work again, so no more problems for me.
