G8 HD footwear rigging problem

Hi, first of all, thanks for taking the time reading this post, I just started with Daz recently so I wish I could grow here along with you guys and contribute back to the community in the near future :P

While I'm playing around with Daz today, I figured a weird problem that occurs to G8F HD figures: When I fit a pair of high heels onto Non-HD figures (no HD mappings and maybe more I guess?) The high heels work PERFECTLY fine, but when I load one onto an HD model, this weird rigging issue starts to appear, and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix it?

  • I don't knoww hat is going on, but there is no such thing as an HD figure - applying an HD morph works on the virtual vertices created by SubD, it's the same figure as when you apply a standard morph (which works only on the base vertices).

    I think the HD means Skin texture?  

  • No, a character descibed as HD should be using an HD morph (or morphs) for fine detail.

    Ah I see, yeah I think it's the HD morphs that are causing this weird problems because all my non-HD morphed characters have no such issues when I apply the high heels.
