MSI RTX 3090 only being used at 3%

Hi all,
First post...
I have the latest version of DAZ 3d and the latest drivers for my new built rig. I am running a MSI 3090 RTX but when I render an animation it is taking nearly two hours but only using 3-5% of GPU. How do I speed this up or make it use more GPU?

    How are you getting that value? Windows Task Manager does not give a useful report in the default list. If you go to the Performance tab, select the graphs for the GPU, and set one of them to CUDA then that should show 100% (ish) usage - if not then there may well be an issue to pursue.

    I will check this out to see. I thought 120 frames would render quicker than nearly two hours

    Just did the bench mark test on here at it came out at:   

    2020-12-19 11:38:30.277 Finished Rendering

    2020-12-19 11:38:30.308 Total Rendering Time: 1 minutes 38.83 seconds

    So reading the posts already on here I believe this is normal.

    Just tested and it's running at 100 coda. Interesting that I tested both with cpu on and off with gpu and just gpu was 6 seconds quicker for two frames

    Yes, CPU on seems to cause the CPU to be less efficient at managing the GPU, and since the GPU is usually much faster than the CPU that loss of efficiency tends to more than balances the render work done by the CPU.
