3rd Party Content Assistance here in Daz3D Forums?
Recently, I went to RenderErotica and RenderHub and purchased some content. Most of it works fine, but one of the products doesn't work very well. I tried uninstalling and and re-installing it many times. None of it worked. So, I took to the forums of each site and posted about how I needed help, as well as inboxed/emailed both the artist directly. However, it seems like the artist that made the content on the site (two different artist from each site) may no longer be making/troubleshooting the content or they've just dropped from the face of the Earth. Here in the Daz3D forums, it seems to be a pretty quick response time (within 1 day) where as on those other sites it could be weeks before you hear anything from anyone (last time I posted something, didn't hear back till 9 days later).
My point/question is, would it be ok for me to ask for help for those 3rd party site products here as well? I didn't see an issue with it considering that I did go through all the steps to fix it myself, and I went to the forums of said 3rd party site, and attempted contacting that artist directly. And I'm receiving help with something from Renderhub at tha time of me writing this, and no one said anything, but I wanted to ask just to be sure I was in the clear. While it's certainly better, if possible, to ask for support at the soruce we realise that may not alwaysd be possible and, as long as the content doesn't inherently break the Terms of Service, you can ask (as you discovered in your other thread).
