    Apart from anything else, 2 GB of RAM is not going to give you a very good experience with DAZ Studio, even if you do get it to run.

    The message means that you need to try to update your graphics driver to use at least OpenGL 1.3 before DS can begin to run. Using Windows 8 on a PC with 2 GB RAM, must leave almost no RAM for applications to run. I would strongly advise you to at least double that, or even better, get the 64 bit version of Win 8 and upgrade your memory to at least 8 GB.

    No, upgrading the RAM would still not make it work, you need to find out what Graphics card or Chip that your machine is using, and upgrade the driver for it so that it can use OpenGL 1.3 or better. DAZ Studio says that your current driver can only use version 1.1, which is not enough.

    You need to go to your Control Panel in Win 8, and look in the Device Manager for Display Adaptors, that should tell you what your PC is using.

    Your computer is an obsolete, under powered POS, don't waste anymore money on it. Though it may be hard to do you should simply patiently wait until you can afford to buy a newer more powerful computer. A lower end 'gaming' system with at least an i5 Intel or equivalent AMD processor should do.

    I see you added to your original post, I hadn't seen that

    According to the website for your graphics chip, it should be using OpenGL 2.0, but DAZ Studio doesn't think so. If you still can't get it to load, I don't know what else you can do.

    Having only 2 GB of RAM on a Win 8 system would not run DAZ Studio properly anyway, you would need much more RAM than that.

    You're using the Windows 8 driver that is why you don't have the correct OpenGL version. And it seems there is no official Win8 driver

    So you can try to get the Win 7 driver from Intel and install it

    32 bit => https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22163&lang=fra&ProdId=3048
    64 bit => https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22167&lang=fra&ProdId=3048

    As it seems it is not that easy to make it work you may have a look at that thread http://www.eightforums.com/drivers-hardware/44607-intel-g41-opengl-windows-8-1-x64.html and follow the instructions if you have Win 8 x64

    I would more consider a PC than I would a laptop. Programs like DS can tax processors and graphics cards meaning that they get hot. Laptops don't really have sufficient cooling and the components could be damaged if left to run hot for a long period of time. PC's can be cooled a lot better and graphics cards with their own cooling systems can be fitted.
