Loft 4 Lease Product SLOW renders

OK...I have stripped this product's scene of all lights, sky boxes and all the props and still the render time is ridiculously slow.


WHY?

    What are your advanced render settings?

    The product page state "The room and corridor are lit by use of the DAZ Studio Area Lights, but there are separate sunlight, IBL Light and corridor spot lights."

    Did you disable the area lights?

    I deleted every light in the scene...as far as I know.

    I don't see any lights listed when I look under the lights tab, yet it takes 10 mins to render to 1%.

    Area lights are not actual lights that appear in the Scen pane (though there should be a single pseudo-light to block the default "headlight"). They are applied to surfaces on models, so if you want to remove them in favour of some other approach you will need to find the light-emitting surfaces (probably easy to spot as they will have an ambient glow in the preview), select them, and apply a different surface shader.
