Daz to blender bridge warping any character I import

No matter which character I try to send to blender it comes out as a heavily warped disfigured model but if I use the fbx exporter it looks fine. I don't wanna use the fbx exporter as it doesn't rig the characters at all or at least not correctly. Any thoughts. I have some cool blender scenes I made and I wanna put my Daz figures in them and pose them in blender. Any thoughts or suggestions?
