How do you mean to use them?    2d images are OK   using the actual 3D model and redistributing it is not, That would offend against the EULA and  would require the interactive licenses.

  • Export the 3D mesh into a software development or game-maker environment, and use that to build yet another 'art reference app'? No. You can't do that. Even though, technically you would not be rendering them.

Simply look at the model in the DAZ viewport, get the real-time lighting really nice, and then "sketch from life" on your tablet? Yes, that's fine.  I would imagine you could even do that in an "art class" setting, if you have a big screen/wall-projector.

But the whole idea of DAZ and Poser content is that you can render, and what you render is royalty-free and can be freely used for any purpose. So there's no point at all in avoiding rendering, other than the time taken to do it. The only thing you have to watch for is a few freebies whose makers perversely place them under "non-commercial", or which are obvious fan-art (Batman, Spiderman. Star Trek etc).
