Payments Using Amazon Gift Card Balances?

I noticed that Amazon can be used for payments, so I told my kids to give me Amazon gift cards for Christmas so I can buy DAZ items using them. But it looks like I can only specify credit/debit cards using the Amazon payment option when checking out.

So I have several hundred dollars in my Amazon gift card balance but can't see a way to tell DAZ/Amazon to use it for the DAZ bill. Am I missing something? There's not much I really want from Amazon at this time.

I don't think your missing anything...  I tried the same thing a while back.  I don't have a great recommendation for you, as I just ended up giving up and using my Amazon credit elsewhere.

As far as I know Amazon expects you to spend your gift card balance on Amazon and doesn't allow you to use it for Amazon Pay.

I don't have Amazon but looking at one of their pages, check to see if there's an "add payment method" that might help. And/or query them how you're supposed to spend a gift card.

Daz3D could add a DAZ3D Gift Card on Amazon shops for customers to buy with their Amazon Gift Cards balance.

Great idea. I don't think sales will see the comment here, though. Maybe the OP can put in a ticket/request. Although this probably would not allow one to take advantage of gift card sales, it would still be useful for purchasing the gf at full price.
