Eyeball "look at" retargeting = insta-crash

Mac, Studio Pro v.4.6.3.52

So I have a scene I've finished rendering, now I'm trying to move people and things around to set up the next shot.

I have a G2M character who was gazing at his own right hand. Now, if I try to select one of his eyes and set the look-at target to "none" I get an immediate crash.

I had encountered this problem before with G2 figures gazing into each other's eyes face to face, but this is the first time I've hit it when a cross-gaze wasn't involved.

Does anybody know a workaround? This is really annoying; I'm going to have to reconfigure this character from scratch if I can't unhook his gaze.

Thanks!

I lately also get crashes, but saving the scene fresh (so no resave, but save it with a different name) always solves it for me.
Close DAZ and then re-open and load the saved scene.
    Odd I know ><</p>

Hah! That'll work in a pinch, thank you!
