Hair looks weird after importing a daz model via the bridge

Hi,
when I'm using the cycles render engine, the hair looks pretty weird but with Eevee it's not an issue anymore.
Does someone know why the hair looks that way? I might do an obvious mistake here since I'm very much a beginner with Daz and Blender.

I don't use the bridge myself, but that looks like a transmap issue. You may check the cycles materials. Also be sure to have enough transparency bounces in cycles, from 16 to 64 should be fine depending on the hair complexity. Please note that you don't need the total number of bounces to match, since transparency goes by itself.
