The simplest way to get a walk sequence, is to go to the Content Library, DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > aniBlocks > animate > Walks, and you will find several in there. These walks were designed for V4, but they are a good start.

In the Store, there are aniBlocks for sale by GoFigurre, like this one for example : http://www.daz3d.com/animate-martial-arts-combos

Is there a free alternative? I don't have aniBlocks by default and can't afford it.

The Walk aniBlocks are free with DAZ Studio, you should find them as shown above. There are other ones as well, some are Fighting aniBlocks too. There are Dance and Gestures ones as well.

The above are all part of the Genesis Starter Essentials bundle which comes free with DAZ Studio, so, nothing to buy.
