Skydome no longer visible in textured view

DebutstudiosDebutstudios Posts: 26

Howdy all,

I'm not sure what I did, but I'm trying to use a skydome but it shows up just black when in textured view. If I change it to cartoon texture view, I can see my skydome. This is very frustrating...and I know it is something one of us changed because it didn't use to be like this.

Assistance...sea food plate. :)

BTW, top screenshot is textured view, bottom is cartoon view.

Thanks,

Jim and Co.

aye, render it does, background complete. It's just a nuisance and my picky ass just can't leave well enough alone.

The diffuse on the dome is probably set to 0%. Set it back up to 100% so you can see it.

that was it, the diffuse. I don't understand though, I may have changed it in a previous scene but this one was brand new. Is that a setting that stays changed?

The dome/mat preset itself may load in that way. What set is the dome from?

I have the same Sky Dome issue, but in only when per pixal shading is turned-on. This was apparently a bug that was fixed in the in an earlier DS 4.6.versions, but it appears to be back in the last few versions.
