Editable Signs?

I'm trying to create a neighborhood-esque scene, and it's coming along well. The main issue that I'm having right now is that there aren't really any signs that are customizable, or they aren't the ones that I'm looking for. What I'm trying to find it like a sign that I can use for placing house numbers/address numbers on it. But this also goes for other products, such as this:

love these and they are going to fit perfectly into the scene. However, they already have pre-printed writing/numbers on them. I'd like to be able to change it to something else.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

I am pretty sure you can edit the maps in Gimp or Photoshopenlightened

  • Alright, GIMP I've heard of and I used to know how to use Photoshop very well. However, I don't know what maps are, or how to edit them. I'll have to Youtube it. Thanks.

There is obviously no difference in what kind of image editing software you  prefer, just open a texture image file and change what you want

to find where textures are located open surfaces tab and you can find everything there

You really need to have access to an image editing app like GIMP or phoroshop and have some knowledge of it to work in this hobby.

If you select the object, then in the surfaces tab you can see all the maps/textures used and then you can slect the ones you need to edit.
