when i put my name and serial number into special lines in the start of working of bryce 7.1, it closes and doesn't open again without installing again. it happens time after time on my macbook. what can i do?

    I cannot answer this question for you.

    I would suggest posting this in the Bryce forums. There are really helpful people there and you might have a better chance of someone seeing this that can help.

    IF your mac book has OS X 10.7 or higher then Bryce will not work on it. This is stated on the product page.

    10.6.x is not installable on any mac that was released after June 2011 in case anyone wants to recommend a downgrade.

    We rarely recommend a downgrade, but do often suggest Parallels or bootcamp, as the OP would find if he had asked this question in the Bryce forum. There are several threads about this, and similar, over there.

    I'm a little confused as to why Daz3d would not try to recompile for a more recent mac OS. Bryce was my introduction to 3D on a computer back when I had Quadra 650 with 8 MB RAM and 256MB HD and it took all night to make a mountain reflect in a lake but it was the application that grabbed my attention like no other at the time.

    That is all explained over in the Bryce forum as well. Something to do with Rosetta?

    I'll add my vote to see Bryce upgraded to work native again on mac. Its been a long time...
