  • Task Manager does not, by default, give accurate usage for GPUs in Iray. If you go to the Performance tab and switch one of the GPU graphs to CUDA that should show the overall usage correctly, though not how much is down to Daz Studio.

In this case the fact that the CPU is almost fully used by Daz Studio does suggest that the GPU is not being used - this is most likely as the driver you are using is too old, the minimum version is 451.48.

No sir! I'm running the latest Nvidia drivers and DAZ Studio ignores my GPU which is Nvidia Quadro k6000 12GB. If I check the cpu off, like the alternative was in earlier version without any problems, all I get is a pitch black image. DAZ Studio completely ignores my GPU. This started in later versions of 4.12. Until late 4.11 it wasn't that much of a problem at all.

K is for Kepler and that microarchitectured is not supported by the latest builds of Iray - I'm afraid that it is going to go on being ignored.

Is there any downgrade of DAZ studio, say 4.10 or 4.11 available? I mean, it's a pandemic and joboptions are sparse. On my wishlist is a backward compatibility. At least my wallet says so.

You have to submit a help request and ask customer service for an older version. They may be able to help.

You need to use the help desk and open a ticket.

They might be able to help you.

I always have kept the older versions of Daz Studio, just in case.
