dForce Elven Archer Outfit for Genesis 8 Females error

in The Commons
I have just experienced a very strange error when using the arrow quiver from this set on Robyn 8: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-elven-archer-outfit-for-genesis-8-females
What teh flip?
Would anyone happen to know what may have gone wrong, please? Did I do something I was not supposed to do?

If it's loading a figure with the quiver it's probably hierarchical. try loading the quiver into a blank scene, then save just the quiver as a figure/prop asset. Then try loading that saved quiver into your original scene.
It's an error with the quiver, nothing you do. A ticket has been filed, but heaven only knows when it will get addressed. I also experienced an error with the quiver alone trying to call the eyelashes from an unrelated character; if you didn't see that, you must have the character installed.
I am astonished that QA didn't catch errors that obvious.
Thank you. I am going to file a ticket of my own, then. Maybe return the product.
I loaded Robyn 8, put some makeup and clothes on her, then tried ot load the quiver and the clay figure appeared with it, after some error messages about missing Kyra and such.
QA couldn't have missed this -if they actually loaded and checked all the items in the set. Beta testers should have spotted it first, it screams of bad testingand bad QAing. I remember when Daz was known for its quality and good QA it now seems its slipped so far down its beyond recognition.
I sent a refund request ticket, explaining the problem politely.
Update: I exchanged a few messages with Daz support, and decided to wait some time for a fix. The support informed me that they were able to replicate the error (the opposite was bascially impossible anyway) and that they sent a bug report to QA.
The speed with which Daz managed to fix Rory by Lyoness not a long time ago gives me some hope that this product may actually get fixed too.
Going to wait, huh? I've been waiting since April for a missing morph in The Legend to be fixed.
The support told me my ticket meant a rest to the 30 days countdown for a refund, so I am going to give it a couple of weeks.
well you are lucky which the issue is not a "daz" issue otherwise the chance of get fixed goes down really big, the geografty element have a huge bug when you export it to outside daz and i tred multiple times ask to fix but they ignored me and or told which is not they problem this was the only support i really hated
, because they not even acknowldege the bug.
I wonder if its a smart content error. I have used Elven Archer from the content library downloaded via install manager just fine. On several characters no less.
I bought this the other day and got the same thing, also the foot pose is borked as well, it resets the figure to default pose from the pelvis on down (OK, it's easily worked around but it still shouldn't be doing it). Why has it not been withdrawn from sale until the known issues are fixed?
I have no answer to that question. I filed a support ticket, got a reply, but nothing happened.
My advice is simple - do not buy this product or anything else from the PA Val3dart, until it is fixed.
Kyra probably is the name of the custom character the PA is using for promos as there's the same figure in renders for a few products. As in "Kyra Fantasy Outfit for Genesis 8 Female".
The parts of the outfit probably were saved as hierarchical. It's very easy to fix by resaving the parts but it'd be immediately caugh by QA if anyone before tested the product at all.
I've asked that question in tickets and never received a satisfactory answer.
In any event, since you just bought it, I would very strongly recommend simply returning it. I've had a ticket open on this product for six months that has never been addressed beyond stating that the issues I found were confirmed. Refund requests are usually handled fairly promptly.
