GOZ failing to load

In an attempt to get around some other problems with GOZ I uninstalled, and re-installed the product using the DAZ install manager. Now there's no option to send anything to Zbrush. If I look at the installed plugins under the *help* menu it has a broken symbol by DZGOZ, and underneath it states.

Plug-in failed to load!
Filename:
C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/plugins/dzgoz.dll
Plug-in:
dzgoz
Author:

Version:
0.0.0.0
Reason:
Library could not be loaded. File is not a valid DAZ Studio plug-in, or was made for a different version of DAZ Studio.

This is probably God's way of telling me to get another hobby, but I'm clearly too stupid to quit.

Was DAZ Studio installed with DIM also?

    No it was installed manually.

Try installing GOZ with the stand-alone installer, and make sure they're the same version.

I actually took the hint, and since I've been having so much trouble I decided to just re-install everything with the Install Manager. That seems to have done the trick. Unfortunately now it appears that every time I try and morph Genesis 2 it says that the topology has changed.

So one step forward. Thank you for the help.

Ok, I hadn't tried GoZ, but to try and help you out, I did. :)

Step 1. I have G2F selected, and in Parameters under Mesh Resolution, I select Base resolution.

Step 2. I press the GoZ button in Studio.

Step 3. My Zbrush opens and the mesh is ready to be drawn on the document as a tool.

Step 4. I hit T to go into edit, draw out the figure tool onto the document and turned on symmetry and with the Move brush, elongated the G2F skull top.

Step 5. I went to Zbrush prefs and made sure that GoZ pointed to the right DS as I have a couple on my computer, and pressed the GoZ button which reopened my DS window. (in Zbrush, I selected Continue on the pane that appears when I press GoZ)

Step 6. In the pane that opened in DS, http://prntscr.com/4mcvn2, i have Update Geometry and Create Morphs selected; my item is Zbrush Morph.

Step 7. In parameters, I now have a Zbrush morph. http://prntscr.com/4mcvwt

Step 8. With the morph applied at 100%, http://prntscr.com/4mcw36, I get the conehead I made in Zbrush.

Do make sure that you don't use any brushes that add geometry to the mesh (such as Mesh Insert) or use DynaMesh. Anything that adds geometry will change the vert order.

    Hope this helps.
