Nox Aeterna Out Now [Commercial]

My newest has hit the store, just in time for the PA sale

http://www.daz3d.com/ignisserpentus/nox-aeterna

So this is the party thread... post renders, ask questions and throw glitter (just coz I like it and shtuff)

Couple things to note off the bat:

In order to load the holster dagger, you must have the holster itself selected (it is a selectable region so you can just click it) as it conforms to the holster itself, and not Genesis 2 Female (this was done so, to make it easier on you guys)

Poses must be used with limits turned off in DS (they go beyond limits)

No, there isn't DSON support sadly. I cannot seem to get it to work right on anything. This was, unfortunately, no exception

I will recommend reading the PDF on this one, which is included. There are some tricks to it.

Wow those promo images are gorgeous.

Here's what i did so far, and sooooo glad it has included poses and more importantly hand pose for holding the dagger.

Nice meshes, nice morphs. I bought it!

Those boots alone are a work of art. Just a really workmanlike job on the whole thing.

    Also bought it.

Cant wait to use this in a cool urban sci-fi scene by applying some leather and latex shaders. The mesh is great :-)

that is just superb!! Love it :D

It always amazes me the amount of products released that include weapons of some description...and there is NO hand pose. :eyeroll: Excited to see that is not the case here, PLUS Barb has also made it so the daggers can also be loaded the other way around so G2F can jab with them as well as stab. :D That was brilliant!!!

Beautiful job on the renders Jaki and DB. You both always do really cool images with my stuffs. I love the contrast between them too... DB's is all intense and saturated, and Jaki's is all light and pastel.

And lol not that brilliant... I found out right after I did the set (from Richard), that I could save the poses to account for the blade being upright and down (where the pose would actually pose the dagger) thereby, avoiding the need to load different daggers. But by that point, I was like ok... next set lol totally going that route.

One of the hand poses, I think the right one (don't have it open right now) - resets half the arm when applied, in addition to applying the dagger pose.

Ok thats really strange, the hand poses are working on my end (even the DAZ installed version) Have you quit DS and reopened to see if it still does it?

Also, be sure u have limits turned off when using the poses. They go beyond limits.

    Thanks Cris! :)

you knwo what's weird? If you apply the right hand pose in her default arms-outstretched position, it's JUST the hand that closes around the dagger. BUT if you have already posed Gen2 in another pose and THEN apply the right hand dagger pose, her right arm shoots back to the default outstretched position.

And sorry Barb, I noticed it late last night and just messaged you on FB about it...didn't notice it had been mentioned here already.

Ok... apparently, the pose was saved with the arm information accidentally. It must not have been caught, because u have to have another pose applied for it to do that lol I will submit the fix to my tester, and it will be to you guys shortly. In the meantime, if you want, you can zero the figure, apply the pose and resave it (just tick off check only modified in the options) and then overwrite the thumbnail from the original zip.

    Who's Thunder?

    *grin*

Yeah, it only does it IF you have a pose applied to her that is NOT the default one. Hey, we're excellent testers, aren't we? :headdesk:

if you ever get any poses that change more than you want say for instance the arm moving when you just want the hand to pose, you can select the Hand hit Ctrl click on the hand pose (well on pc anyway not sure for others) click on the little box thingy that pops up like i have it and it should just pose what you have selected.

I really don't think the promo renders do this outfit justice. The detail is amazing. This is a 2000 pixel render, so click on it and expand it to see all the detail.

I think Lilith has become my new favorite shape, and this outfit shows off he ample assets to excellent advantage. Quickie portrait for you. The materials in the top look so touchable. Thanks for also including awesome poses.

    Here's my render with it!

I both endorsed it on my blog in my "Things I Bought At The PA Sale" series and am offering a freebie kit for male use. These are really quality meshes and textures with some very nice morphs, just a very flexible and workmanlike set.
