Issue with Clothes Looking Weird on Gen 8 Models

So I've been using Gen 3 for the vast majority of my renders because of an issue I've had with Gen 8 models that I feel I should finally ask about and see if I can resolve.

As the title says, clothes look odd on my Gen 8 model. A good example is provided in the image link below. The one on the left is Gen 8, and the one on the right is Gen 3. They're both wearing a swimsuit made for Gen 8 models. To me, it looks a lot better on the Gen 3 model, and looking at the pictures on the product page of that swimsuit (https://www.daz3d.com/one-piece-swimsuit-for-genesis-8-female-s), it looks a lot better on those Gen 8 models being previewed than it does on mine. Most notably are the hips and legs where it just looks a lot cleaner and smoother on Gen 3 (the leg hole part of the suit for example), whereas on the G8F model who the suit is made for, they're kinda jagged and oddly shaped. I've just used the base models for this comparison, but I've tried several Gen 8 models and it looks the same on all of them. That includes models that are a bit bigger, because I initially thought it was beacuse the base model was too skinny, but that didn't really fix it. Am I missing something or is this normal and should just stick to Gen 3 if this is something that bothers me?

Also sorry if this is a noob question, I've been using DAZ a bunch but this G8F issue has been something I haven't been able to really figure out and I figure it would be worth asking on here about.

  • Try selectign Genesis 8, then go to Edit>Figure>Zero>Zero Figure Shape - I'm wondering if the figure is loading with a morph applied by default, and the oddities are due to its projection into the swimsuit.

  • Massive. That actually fixed it. Can't believe I never thought to do that. Greatly appreciated!!!
