Octane Render for Daz Studio

Hi all,

I'm running Daz Studio 4.15 on Windows 10 (64 bit), with the free tire of Octane Render.

The problem I've got is if I hit Final on the Octane Render Viewport, it seems to fully render but doesn't seem to actually complete.

It just seems to hang at the point of the attached image.
If I check the Octane log in the system tab, it's not throwning up any errors or anything like that.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Max sample is reached (500 in the yellow bar) so the renderer stop. You can increase it. In the stand alone the option is in the kernel parameters (max samples). There must be the equivalent somewhere in the bridge (current kernel ?)

  • I could understand that. But the save button remains greyed out.

    I had the same thing.

Try clicking the "Switch Render size to: Viewport size Render setup" button just to the left of the help button at the top of the window, and save before ending the Final Render.  It also seems to let you save the render before it has finished processing if you want.
