OOT is having a naming crisis - 2021-01 Hair :)

Joking aside, great hair by OOT. Why his/her/their hair products are so next-gen compared to other vendors? Closest competitor would be AprilYSH, but it's not even that close...

OOT make nice hair, but it's all of a certain type. It's also pretty resource heavy, and recently, I've found a bunch of ERC problems with them, which aren't being fixed, even though I've put in tickets and contacted them directly via Rendo. Nobody's perfect.
The name is odd, but OOT has also named outfits after months at Rendo, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like OOT's hairs for realism. I wish this one had a Part Flatten morph, though, because I'd like the OOT look and movement combined with the sleekness of Lynna Hair.
i was like outoftouch hairs, they are magnificent .
I've always been a fan of OOT's hair, but like all hair with morphs - there are issues with extreme amounts of the morph, or when outside of the realm the morphs can cope with.
Using more AprilYSH hairs and others at the moment as I had quite often artifacts on characters with oot hairs recently. Nothing which could not be dialed out but nasty nevertheless.
Nah, go look at Sprite's hairs, Sarah Payne's hairs, and Windfield's (who's I actually think may look visually more realistic, particularly Haydina, Matilda, and Taylor Hairs), and some of the dForce hairs. They compete very nicely with OOT (who I highly admire and respect).
Also, check out the Real Hair shaders. They truly push the detail to a whole new level.
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, somehow I completely forgot this thread. I had a look at your recommendation, and you're right ! Sarah Payne's and Windfield's hairs are really breathtaking. I have not into hairs for a while since I nearly bought all hair by outoftouch (couple of years ago) and really glad to see we get this level of realism now from a lot more vendors.
Thanks again.
Best regards,
Minh
