DAZ Studio 3 won't respond

So, long story short, I recently had to reinstall windows; which meant re-downloading and re-installing DAZ Studio. I have both DS3 and DS4 for three reasons:

1. Some products that I have work in DS3, but not in DS4 for some reason.

2. DS4 tends to crash during rendering, because of some bull fertilizer about errors.

3. In DS3, if I want to remove or adjust a prop or article of clothing from a figure, I can easily just click on it. In DS4, if I try clicking on it, it stupidly selects the figure instead. I know I can open the scene tab and select the item there, but that's still stupid.

Anyway, after reinstalling both of those programs, DS4 seems to work just fine. But when I try to open DS3, it opens in a small window that I can't maximize and nothing I click on does anything. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times, but no go. So what gives?

    I can't help with DS3 but

1: What products don't work in DS4 that do in DS3
2: Crashing during rendering...what are your PC specs as DS4 uses a lot more resources that DS3 did...I know as I had the same issues before getting a new PC.
3: You can right click over the clothing and select it from the list.;)

    1. Well, there's this one, for starters:

I had to make this render in DS3, because the bucket wouldn't show in DS4.

And there's a few V4 clothing items from Renderosity, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.

    2. I don't really know much about my computer's specs, but... I'll bet it's because I'm stuck with stupid windows XP. DS4 doesn't crash all the time though. Sometimes it does let me make the render.

    3. Okay then.

1: Do any of the other items in the set show in DS4 as if they do it may be a surface setting issue on the bucket. I don't have this set or I would check for you.

2: doing CGI does require a limited knowledge of computers so it might be best to find out. Google is your friend. :) I would have at a guess that you may not have enough Computer Memory (RAM = Random Access Memory) hence why DS4 is crashing at render.
