Trying to render with Emission canvas, but seeing small holes in renders
Hi, I'm new at this but I'm trying to figure out why my renders have holes in them. I'm trying to set up a way to render a base layer, then render a series of overlay images each with just an item of clothing, so they can be combined in different patterns later.
The issue was that the back of the clothing rendered when you just hide the model. I found that I could get what I wanted by playing around with the advanced IRay render settings, creating a Canvas with Emission Alpha set, choosing the clothing as a node, and rendering like that. It almost works, but the issue I'm seeing is that there's small holes in the rendered items that aren't there when I do a regular render (see attached).
I'm trying to figure out why that is, but I'm new to most of this and haven't been able to figure it out. There's nothing else in the scene to block it, and just the model, camera, and wardrobe item. Is there something I'm missing in the setup with this?

Normally, you'd use a Beauty canvas with Alpha checked for this kind of thing.
Oh! I thought it was just Emission that did it. Well that helps!
Unfortunately I'm still seeing the "holes in the render" issue when only rendering the Jeans node, even on a Beauty canvas.
Not knowing what figure or jeans you are using (more information = better), it's hard to say what's going on. These look a little like the artifacts you get when a haircap needs adjusting, so maybe try again after using whatever fit adjustment morphs are available for the pants to expand them a bit.
